Short Bio

Dr. Dawei Zhang is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Computer Science and Technology at the Zhejiang Normal University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Technology from Zhejiang Normal University in 2022, advised by Prof. Zhonglong Zheng and Prof. Xiaoqin Zhang. During 2021, he worked as a visiting student at the Institute of Science and Technology for Brain-inspired Intelligence, Fudan University, advised by Prof. Yanwei Fu. From 2025 to 2026, he was a visiting scholar at the College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, advised by Prof. Yi Yang.
His research interests include computer vision, deep learning, video analysis, multimodal fusion, and LLMs.
